To be honest, I realised that I wanted to be an archaeologist by serendipity. A friend encouraged me when we were studying history at the university to participate in an archaeological excavation during the holidays. I'm in love with archaeology since that summer in 2006. It is difficult to explain what I feel when I 'discover something' under the ground... Those finds tell us the history of the past societies. We can know how people used to live, their activities, what they ate and drank, their habits, the ways of entertainment, leisure and free time through the uncovered objects... I love wondering about questions and trying to figure out the information that an artefact hides is completely amazing! How lucky we are as archaeologists and how gratifying it is to share this passion with everybody who has the curiosity to learn about the past!
